I love how little respect I get for trying to run a free site, I can’t wait when I finish my new scans and upload them to Moe and watching people upload them to minitokyo and animepaper and then in a few days people will claim that I stole them.

I also love being called a fag, excuse me while I go on my knees and start sucking cocks for 5 dollars so I can keep running the site for free.

So I got my stuff from sc39 and comic1-2, unfortunately I’m worn out from work and I need to charge my camera, I will instead scan the covers on Friday if I’m not totally worn out and people can request which doujin to scan. As long as I can scan it without fucking up the binding too much I’ll go for it.

Back to real life, work makes me cuss way too much, I had to untangle 2 or 3 networks the past 2 days. (basically telling them to remove 3 or 4 routers between the pbx and the ip phones) That made me really tired since I had to ask them to describe in detail how they have it setup and so I can map out what things I can remove.

Lastly I ran in to another interesting thing, tracerouting to ip was failing, but when I used its hostname it works, yet the hostname and the ip match each other, DNS issue? whatever….

I ran out of money at this point. Oh well, 2 weeks till next paycheck o/

This past week has been like hell. First some back story, last Wednesday I went to get gas, unknowingly my debit card got cloned at that location. I wake up to a phone call on Saturday saying 400+ dollars was posted to my bank account and they were double checking if it was fraud or not. So I got my debit card closed and began the process of trying to get my money back.

Fast forward to today, I got my new card, and guess what? When I tried to activate it they said the card was already activated. GEE THANKS.

Called up to the fraud department again, got transferred over to card services. Got my brand new card canceled, since I won’t be very happy if my I lose my direct deposit paycheck tomorrow to some asshole who cloned my card again. I suspect this card got cloned though the stupid shitty RFID “speed pass” shit, basically its a “convenience” for people who don’t want to sign stuff for things under 25 dollars, swipe the card and you’re good to go! Yeah fuck that, so I asked to get a new card with out that. Turns out, due to my account being overdrawn the rep can’t send me a new card. So now fuck it I’m never going to use a debit card ever. I’m just going to live with a credit card, paypal, and direct transfers.

As stated earlier on the “I need donations because I don’t have money for food thread” over in moe.imouto.org. I’ve started to scan a few things that were requested over the past few weeks. Using my patent pending “blur the crap out of image then fiddle with some crap” process (Just Kidding?) sometimes the scans aren’t super good, if you want to complain eat shit and die thanks :3

By the way, if anyone else knows if other people scanned issues/parts of Magi-cu I’d like to know so I’m not wasting my time scanning stuff people already did.

A pleasant surprise when I came back from work, this artbook arrived from mangaoh.

The positives:
Hardcover
Full color
Artwork from 99 to 07
The negatives:
Hardcover, its “harder” to debind and scan
Reused art, expected, unexpected that it had a few doujinshi covers that are textless (hmm, that should be a positive)
and that about it.

There’s a nice double sided 4 page foldout poster, unfortunately its quite hard to get it to line up properly to scan. So instead its going to be four parts unedited at 300dpi on the best high resolution anime scan site in the world. (Yes I’m biased, also if you REALLY want the 600dpi ones leave a comment)

Monday - Learned provisioning method for ordered servers, built 4 servers
Tuesday - Moved 200 empty 2u cases across the building, built 5 servers
Wednesday - Started to provision 36 various voip phones to demo server
Thursday - Finished provisioning, turns out dhcp and dns is very important…
Friday - Started to answer tickets in RT
